Samaritan Ministries
Samaritan Ministries of Hot Springs offers Pleasant Hill Baptist Church members the opportunity to serve and interact with homeless men in our own city. As Hot Springs’ only homeless shelter for men, Samaritan Ministries goes beyond simply offering shelter, food and rest; it offers hope, a second chance and, for many, a new life in Christ. PHBC provides supplies, clothing and sanitary needs. Twice each month the PHBC Samaritan Ministry Team provides a home-cooked dinner, which includes providing and preparing the food, serving dinner, cleaning up and teaching a bible lesson to residents and overnighters.

Food Pantry
The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church food pantry helps feed families in need in our community and Garland County. More than just food, volunteers meet and speak with families seeking assistance and work toward meeting their needs.

Intensive Caring Ministry
Join us as we serve families with loved ones in intensive care. Each Thursday, volunteers provide lunch at St. Joseph’s hospital.
Members volunteer their time to ease the burden of those who may have spent days or weeks in the hospital. Serving a simple meal (sandwiches, pizza, whatever the volunteer team chooses) and visiting with the families, you can help lift the family’s spirits during their trying time. To become involved in this ministry, please contact us.
Media/Communications
Multi-Media Ministry helps the congregation and general public know what is going on in the church and helps lead them into worship by supporting other ministries and pastoral staff in communicating the Word of God. We do this through quality presentations, graphics, web site design, digital photography and videography.
Whether you’re a creative, graphics-type person, tech-savvy or just a great organizer, Multi-Media Ministry has a spot for you! Volunteers design and update the website and printed materials; create and run media presentations; run the video camera; maintain the electronics; write and distribute news releases, and so much more!
